URBAN IMPACT recruits and hosts youth and adult Mission Teams to come and do urban ministry and evangelism among New York City's unreached people groups. Ten trips have been scheduled for May-September of 2002. Your group would join up with other church groups to form a team of at least 50. Each team will be directed by a Urban Impact missionary as they minister to the assigned people group (Russian, Jewish, Muslim, or other unreached people group). Each trip is fully scheduled and organized by Urban Impact missionaries and staff. The trips include times for orientation, training, scheduled worship experiences, guided site seeing side-trips, as well as ministry through evangelism, children's ministry, ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, performing arts, sports, and other cross-cultural ministries.
